I have not had that problem. However I have set up a feedburner email subscription on my site and lately it has been sending the past 10 or 15 posts in an email instead of just the one I posted. Anybody know why that would be?

Hello all:

I?m having the same problem... and I have already tried moving folders, renaming... but afeter a feww minutes it changes by itself to the default theme :(

I have had a look at the functions.php of my theme but it's strange cause it makes references all the time to kubricks'theme (Wp default) so I don't know what to do .

I''m using 2.5 and this is the website (if you are lucky you'll be able to see it with a different theme tnah default :P )

www.tuschapas.co.nr

thanks a lot

@Andrea,

I've seen this same behavior with PodPress. In fact, I've seen this happen with the FeedBurner plugin as well where the FeedBurner feed address gets cleared out and it stops forwarding. It's all very disconcerting. I'm watching v2.5 as well to see if this clears things up.

I did have this problem on one of my blog sites, then I upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress (the version before the new one that just came out) and that seemed to stop the issue. I thought I was in the clear. Now the same thing happens to Podpress that's in the same blog. Periodically the settings will go back to default, although it doesn't happen as often as the Wordpress thing. Last week I decided to upgrade both Wordpress and Podpress to the newest versions. Let's see if that helps.

@Melanie,

That's a clever idea. I'm glad it worked for you.

I think what I'm going to try is updating to WordPress 2.5 (out this week) and see of that fixes it.

@Karin,

It sounds like what Melanie did is make the Default theme look like the theme she wanted.

You could also try copying all your theme files (from the theme you really want to use) into the default folder and change the line that names it to make the name Default.

That way when it changes back to "Default" it really stays with the theme that you want.

Hi Melanie - this sounds interesting, I have the same problem, and like Jason I am on the lookout for fixes.

I am not sure I quite know how you have done, and if I will be able to do the same, but I

Hi Jason,
I had this problem too on two of my sites. Actually I found a solution :-)
In my case, I use the theme Gemini plus which uses several designs you can change in a setup window within WP. I wrote all those options down and opened functions.php in my theme's directory (with FTP). There is a section to edit the default theme template and I edited it the way that it uses the values that I want. So it still may happen that the theme is reset but I won't notice it anymore :-)
