My Site is Back!
You’ve probably noticed that the site was M.I.A over the last few days. This afternoon I finally got them to find the problem (which I had been telling them since Friday but they didn’t believe me). On Friday the host screwed up while doing a backup and my web address starting pointing to other people’s web sites. I’m happy to say my web address is no longer promoting cigars and other tobacco products.
Probably the worst part is that my email has been bouncing that entire time. The email is still not back in action, but in the meantime you can reach me at jasonvano AT gmail DOT com if you need. My usual email should be back up soon.
Incidentally, I’m already in the process of moving this site to another host. I can no longer continue using or recommending the current host, Globat, even though I have had several years of good service from them. Every host will give you some headaches now and again, but this was just too much. It’s too bad for them since I bring numerous new customers to them every month.
The timing for moving to a new host is good since I plan to revamp the look and feel of my site very soon anyway. Stay tuned for a new host and design.

Had been reading your blog for a while, and JUST purchased your ‘Promoting your Podcast’ book this weekend, then you were gone!
I didn’t see any cigars in your absence, but instead had seen PHP-Nuke… would rather have seen cigars.

I recommend using A Small Orange. (http://www.asmallorange.com). I’ve been with them for about a year now and the service is great.
I use them to host my sites, including my blog and podcast.
