Some podcasting colleagues and I have put together a collection of the best “how to” content for podcasters to be syndicated as an ongoing podcast station on Podango called the Podcast Mastery Network (this link won’t be active until Mar 5th). I’ve asked some of my favorite podcasters to participate in the station and share their best podcasting tips and tricks.

The station will include content from Paul Colligan (Podcast Tools & Profitable Podcasting), John Havens (About.com Guide to Podcasting), Charles Stricklin (Podcast Planning), Leesa Barnes (Podonomics) and myself. The station launches on March 5th.

Wordpress Plugin Recommendation | WP-Amazon for Quick Draw Affiliate Links

Wednesday, February 07th, 2007

I’m a big fan of using Wordpress for publishing podcasts. I’m also a big fan of affiliate programs for monetizing podcasts and blogs (getting paid for sales from people you refer to a site or product). One of the most ubiquitous affiliate programs is Amazon’s.

If you’ve ever used the Amazon Associate Program to create affiliate links on your site, you know that it’s not the quickest process. Well the process just got a lot easier for Wordpress users.

There are already things I want to update in the book for the benefit of my readers. I’ll be posting occasional updates here on my blog and linking to this category from the book site.

Podcast & Book Recommendation | 43 Folders & Getting Things Done

Monday, December 04th, 2006

Between maintaining this blog, three podcasts, speaking gigs, consulting and other business pursuits, I sometimes think I’ll go mad for the fact that I can never get done as much as I would like to. Keeping Track of Your Podcasting To Dos and Production Schedule

Thursday, October 19th, 2006

Remember the MilkI’ve been looking for an online tool to help me keep track of everything I’m doing with three podcasts, two new businesses, book promotion and speaking gigs…not to mention the rest of my life (yes I have one).

I’ve found a great solution: Remember the Milk. This online to do list organizer is intuitive, well-designed and has all the features I’ve been looking for. I can access it from anywhere I have Internet access. It exports to iCal, provides feeds and can Skype or email you reminders. And that is just the beginning of it.
